Gordon James left for a battalion the day after his wedding with Daphne Kirk. Seven years later, Daphne took their son Freddy to Gordon's camp to meet his dad. There she found out he got married to another woman in the camp. Conflicts with his new wife Flora and her mom Jane led to Freddy dying on the trip. Brennan investigates the culprits with Ernie's wallet in hand, Brennan sets out to the address on the identification card in the wallet. This eventually gets Ernie abducted and Brennan finds out that Ernie is related to Anthony. Brennan has leverage to get back at Anthony. After hearing Ernie being tortured over the phone Anthony sets out to go to war to bring down an entire crime syndicate that has been hunting him down and has his brother captive. Anthony turns to his past love interest and comrade, Rave.
