Dear Brother, Your Regret Came Too Late
In Dear Brother Your Regret Came Too Late, Stephanie Sims has spent 16 years being blamed by her family for her mother's death. Her mother died while giving birth to her, and her grieving father has held Stephanie responsible ever since. Instead of receiving the love and care she deserves, Stephanie grows up neglected and unwanted in her own home, carrying the burden of a tragedy she could never have prevented.
The only person who initially shows Stephanie warmth and kindness is her older brother, Alexander "Alex" Sims. Whenever their father ignores her, Alex comforts Stephanie and reassures her that she is loved. However, everything changes when their cousin, Abigail Dawn, moves in. Soon, even Alex begins siding with their father and showering Abigail, whom they call Abby, with affection. Stephanie is pushed further aside, and her family cruelly wishes that she had died instead.
Tragically, their wish seems to come true when Stephanie is diagnosed with cancer. Alex even catches a glimpse of her diagnosis report, yet he fails to understand the suffering she has endured. After Stephanie's death, his accusations against her and her friends begin to turn against him. As the truth comes to light, Alex is forced to confront the devastating consequences of his actions. But by then, his regret has come far too late. Can a family ever make up for the love and kindness they refused to give?
