For ten years, janitor Maya scrimps and saves while raising her daughter Lily almost entirely on her own—only to discover that her husband, Adrian, is actually a multimillionaire who has lavished all his love and affection on his first love and her son. Completely heartbroken, Maya leaves with Lily. She is later revealed to be the daughter of a fallen war hero, and after reclaiming her true identity, she becomes the long-lost beloved heiress of the powerful Harrington family. When Adrian loses his business, his family, and the wife and daughter he took for granted, he falls to his knees and begs for forgiveness. Lily gives him only one final answer: “Daddy, we’re done.”
