Part 1: Tell Me You Love Me Plot Summary
Among the top families of Naples, the Zandra family, which were one of the oldest families of the city, were on the road to bankruptcy. The present leader who was Hayley Zandra’s father, had ran the family business into the ground. This was because he had only but inherited it, just like the rest of the other families handle succession, and because he had the lazy character of every rich kid.
Hayley was the heiress to the Zandra family and 22 at the time, and every morning debt collectors visited the family with either warnings or to collect the much Mr. Zandra could afford to pay back. The family had kept their down fall a secret until one of the businesses they were owing made their situation a public knowledge.
Seeing as they were in desperate need of help, they began to look to Hayley for help. Her method of helping her parents was deeply rooted in her choice for a husband. But the Zandra family had made a betrothal agreement with the Morrisons around when Hayley was born. She was betrothed to Yates Morrison the heir to the Morrison family.
But Hayley didn’t want anything to do with Yates because she was in a relationship with Jack Stone. A relationship that had lasted for over two years at the time. Jack was heir to the Stone family and Hayley had a lot of reasons to prefer him. He was a graduate of Oxford University and at the age of 24, had already taken over the Stone family business.
