Part 1: An Heiress’s Rise From Exile to Empire Full Movie Plot Summary
Gisela Knoll was the daughter of the late Duke Knoll of Empire Kingdom. She was also the only child and heir of the Knoll family. Being born as a Duke’s daughter meant she was royalty and a noble lady of the society. A Duke was a member of the royal family, a part of the inner circle of the emperor.
Following the demise of her both parents, Gisela’s grandmother became the leader of the Knoll family and the only guardian plus chaperone to Gisela. Gisela loved her grandmother very much, she was her only surviving relative and the major factor why her honor was safe in the society. But she had made friends with Jasna Riepl as a teenager and that friendship was threatening to ruin the Knoll family.
Gisela trusted Jasna very much, she was the illegitimate daughter of a salt seller and his concubine. But because she’d proven over the years to be useful to Gisela, the heiress had kept her by her side. But unbeknownst to her, Jesna had been sleeping with her fiancé. The two of them had woven a plan to steal everything the Knoll family owned and murder everyone.

Gisela Knoll was the main female lead of An Heiress’s Rise From Exile to Empire movie. Because she was the heiress of the Knoll family and therefore a princess as her father was a Duke, there was a certain standard of life required for her status in life. But Gisela was surrounded by enemies. She was in love with the son of Nowak family and didn’t realize he was an enemy.
Using her status, she’d made sure to elevate him over all the Nowak family members, including those who were older and more deserving. She also placed Jesna in a favorable position in the empire. But Ewald only wanted what was best for only Ewald. After killing her grandmother together with Jesna, they had waylaid Gisela, given her the beating of her life and strangled her to death.
Jesna Riepl
Jesna Reipl was the second female lead of An Heiress’s Rise From Exile to Empire movie. Unlike Gisela, Jesna was a nobody. She was an illegitimate conception of two lowly members of the hierarchical society, therefore, she had no names nor titles. But being friends with Gisela presented her with the opportunity to mix with high society. And while she could have chosen to do better, she chose to envy Gisela.
Jesna started sleeping with Ewald, knowing very well that he was engaged to be married to Gisela. She got so tightly into him that the entire Nowak family started plotting together with her, to marry her instead of Gisela. The target was to steal what the Knoll family owned, since the Duke was dead and only women remained. Jesna bit the finger that fed her when she murdered Gisela.
Ewald Nowak
Ewald Nowak was the first male lead of An Heiress’s Rise From Exile to Empire movie. Ewald was raised by a very wicked woman. Just like Gisela, he’d lost his father early in life and was raised singlehandedly by his conniving mother. The hierarchical society wasn’t an easy place for nobodies to exist and after his father’s passing, things went down for the immediate family.
To raise their heads again, his mother had done extremely wicked acts. She’d framed the senior Nowak family and gotten the leader killed. But achieving the leadership of the Nowak family still wasn’t enough status, therefore she’d plotted with Ewald to take over the Knoll family. Ewald played the role of an extremely selfish man and would murder his fiancé in cold blood.
Vasile Nowak
Vasile Nowak was the second male lead of An Heiress’s Rise From Exile to Empire movie. He was the first heir of the Nowak family. But after his father was accused of treason and killed, the immediate Nowak family, which Ewald belonged to became the leaders of the Nowak family. Dating and getting engaged to Gisela also elevated Ewald’s status so much so that he was promoted five times.
This made Vasile seem smaller, even though he was uncle to Ewald and a general in the Empire Kingdom’s army. Vasile had known Gisela since she was little, but since her status in life placed her above his league, he’d only watched from the corners as Ewald and his minions plotted and crafted against the Knoll family. This was until Gisela’s miraculous rebirth.
