Ava has tried many times to preserve her boundaries with the Jackson family. That’s because Ava is done with having them exploit her and make her the cash cow!
However, the Jackson family doesn’t run out of manipulative tactics. They start with a fake phone call while setting traps to kill and imprison Ava! Then, when Ava arrives, they are prepared with their torturous weapons.
The Jackson family also reminds Ava of her lowly orphan status and that they are never her biological family! We can be sure the Jackson family does it on purpose to double Ava’s emotional damage.
They also weaponize Ava and Luca’s mutually loving feelings until Luca and Helena arrive! Then, the jail becomes their only place to atone for their sin.

Marco must have prevented Ava from seeing his extended family in his lifetime! Not many scenes involve the late Marco, except for the flashbacks that occur in some episodes. It leads us to wonder if we could have a prequel about Ava’s romance stories with Marco!
The loan shark could only be a small part of the Mancini family’s rival. That way, his death in the unlockable episode doesn’t automatically end the Jackson family’s manipulation!
Speaking of the Jackson family’s manipulation, this aspect also becomes our favorite! Sara might not continue to be the major villain as another woman obsessed with Luca replaces her in that position.
However, we love how Derek and Karen conspire in twisting Ava’s emotional conditions! Karen looks like a loving, caring, and peaceful mother at first.
Who knows if she used her fake peaceful nature to prevent Ava from simply talking back to her and Derek? We will see more as we approach the ending parts!
