A legendary singer wrote a song that said, “if love is a crime then I’m willing to be wanted,” and just like him, Enzo of I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie, was unfortunate enough to have found the kind of love that was a crime. And also like him, he was willing to be wanted on several occasions, and for felonies he didn’t commit, until it landed him in prison and cost him his life.
What happened? When did love become a crime? What has one got to do to be counted as one of those who’s found the kind of love that’s a crime? On the other hand, what are second chances? What does one have to do to merit a second chance? These and more questions come to mind when watching the movie, I’m Done Being a Yes-Man.

Part 1: I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Plot Summary
Enzo Quinn was an only child and heir to the Quinn Cooperation, he was a gentle boy, a mommy’s boy and it wasn’t too difficult to deduce just by looking at him. Because he was born into luxury and without a need in the world, he was spoiled rotten and owned the best of every thing an ordinary teenager could ever want. He was about 17yrs old and a high school student.

Enzo was also shielded which made him the kind of rich boys that didn’t know anything about the world. Because of his backgrounds, he wasn’t too confident with the opposite sex. He was also the kind of rich kids that paid attention to their studies, which made him a chronic nerd and that was something high school females found extremely unattractive.
Because he lacked confidence in his approaches to the opposite sex, he found it difficult to express himself around them. But this aspect of life was already covered as he’d met Stella, the Quinn family’s chauffeur’s daughter. Mr. Hall had come into the Quinn’s family as Mr. Quinn’s personal driver. And because all the important servants lived within the estate, so did he.
About two years into working there, he’d gotten married to a fine woman and they’d given birth to Stella. Enzo was about a year old at the time. Therefore, the friendship that was struck up between the kids had lasted until now. Because Enzo liked Stella, the Quinn family had extended most of what’s given to Enzo to Stella. She was attending the same expensive schools…

Could drive the family luxury cars, she had enough leverage because Enzo was convinced she was his all and all. But Stella hated Enzo. She found his nerdy attributes unattractive. And while Enzo would do anything for her, she enjoyed dating other men and watching him gravel for her attention. Enzo was so naive that he couldn’t see her actions for what they were.
He simply thought she was playing hard to get, especially after everything he’d done for her. A certain girl named Lily, wanted Enzo as much as he wanted Stella, but Enzo didn’t care. Until Stella killed a man with his car and he took the fall and ended up in jail. She stole his father’s money and arranged his death. But what happened when he was reborn back in time?

Part 2: Highlights Of I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Movie
I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Episode 2:
Enzo was so blinded in love with Stella that the young lady was convinced he would step into fire just to please her and she wasn’t wrong. He was so blinded he couldn’t understand that when she kissed another boy and was constantly seen with him, that it meant she was not only dating but also sleeping with him. He was that naive and Stella was a narcissist.
The high school football team had won a little match earlier in the day and Stella’s actual boyfriend was part of the team. Therefore, while Enzo wasn’t interested in the after party, because he didn’t enjoy parties, Stella needed his car to look good. He therefore, tagged along as Stella and her boyfriend drove wildly, drinking liquor from a bottle.

I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Episode 6:
Enzo was sitting scared at the back of the car. Stella’s boyfriend felt uncomfortable around him, but Stella was blessed with a sweet tongue. She could talk her way into or out of anything. She’d turned around to use her charms on Enzo in the attempt to calm him down, when she suddenly hit a man. When they stepped out the car, they found that the man was dead.
Stella’s boyfriend was a fast thinker. He immediately surmised that the car was registered to the Quinn family and therefore, it couldn’t have been Stella who committed the crime. While he continued to try and pin it on Enzo, Stella pleaded with him to take the fall. She convince him he was heir to the Quinn Cooperation, how his parents could get him out and he agreed.

I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Episode 8:
Even on his way to prison, during the whole court case, Enzo was in high spirits. He felt he’d done something that would finally make Stella realize she was hopeless his from the beginning. But while he was sitting in jail waiting for the final court decision, Stella visited him. He told her how to get the bail money, gave her the codes to his father’s safe…
But Stella dialed her boyfriend in front of him and handed him the codes. It would seem they’d been searching the house for something like that and Enzo had just made it easier. She then told him how he was a dreamer, thinking she could be his. She said how she would take all the Quinn family money and spend it with the actual man of her dreams.

Part 3: What to Expect from I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Ending
I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie boasts of almost all the troupes we can find in other such movies. Apart from second chance, another of such troupes was the love triangle. Stella Hall was in love with a Tony and a certain Lily was in love with Enzo. Lily had done everything in her power to get Enzo to notice her. But while he was blindly in love with Stella…
He wasn’t blinded as to who he was. He understood he was a hot cake in the right hands, because he was the heir to the Quinn family and Cooperation. Boy knew he had money and every other things that could be seen as luxury to ordinary teenagers. This simple fact made him a proud nerd. He was convinced Lily was after him because of gains. Why else?

He therefore gave her a high handed treatment every time she came around. This continued until Lily was reputed as the rejected girl of Enzo the Quinn family heir. But that didn’t stop her, she continued to go after him. This was something Enzo would later be grateful for, because as every one abandoned him on his way to prison, Lily gifted him a talisman in a necklace.
She also said how her father was a lawyer and because she was the only one who actually believed he was innocent, she promised to find evidence that would set him free. Enzo went to prison holding on to her gift. He regretted that he’d denied her all this time and vowed to give her attention if he ever got a second chance. We can expect that Enzo would return for revenge!

Part 4: What You Can Learn From I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Movie
I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie holds a few lessons for young people. It provides answers to the few questions which were raised in the beginning of this review. He failed to read the signs and would pay heavily with his life. We can only be grateful that he found the rare opportunity of a second chance and would fight for his right as he delivered revenge.
