Nick and Rita Franklin are the real children of Mimi Vivian and Mandel Franklin in the Hidden Companionship ReelShort series. The two have a seven-year age gap, and had never met each other even when Nick was still a baby. However, Rita still managed to sympathize with Nick.
For seven years, Mimi’s soul has accompanied Nick, watching him get abused as she cries due to hopelessness and frustration. Vivian did everything she could to protect her son even as a soul.
She used her remaining energy to let Rita hear her voice even if it was vague. Rita didn’t disappoint her, the older sister would unconditionally side with Nick even with all the misunderstandings.
It was also only Rita who was smart enough to do a DNA test with all the clues and coincidences presented in front of them.

The Story of the Hidden Companionship Dailymotion drama started seven years ago, after Mimi Vivian gave birth to her second child, Nick.
On her ride home, she was met with a car accident. Her driver died, and she was wounded. While carrying the baby, she tried to ask for help. She got out of the car, only to meet the perpetrators of the accident.
Paige Vivian, carrying her son, bashed Mimi’s head, causing her to fall unconscious. She fell to the ground and could only watch as Paige took Mimi’s son away.
The rescue arrived late and she was pronounced comatose with a low chance of waking up. With some mystical twist, Mimi’s soul got out of her body and tried to make them notice her, but failed. In the end, she followed her son.
During those seven years, Mimi’s son lived with constant abuse and neglect, while the fake son grew spoiled rotten.
However, fate took an unexpected twist when Rita met Nick in a restaurant while celebrating the birthday of the fake young master.
