As the legend of the genie goes: he was a man cursed to live in the underworld, serving a punishment for a crime committed. Part 1: All About Djinn Under Contract Movie—Storyline and Details
Christine Parrish, the female lead of Djinn Under Contract ending, had been pressured into marriage by her late grand father. She was a woman of about 25yrs old and already the CEO of Parrish Enterprises, had done so since her grand father’s retirement of over five years ago. The old man’s will had come with a clause that made it that she must be married to possess her inheritance.
She was the heiress of the Parrish family and this family was excessively wealthy. The man she was forced to marry was named Elijah Baran, he was tall and exceptionally handsome. And even though he was an immortal who had lived over a thousand years, he came in a younger human body. Unbeknownst to Christine, the man she knew as Elijah had been in the family before she was born.
He was a servant to her grand father who had found him when he was thirty years old. The Parrish family had once been extremely poor, living from hand to mouth and struggling for the simplest necessities of life. But Stephen Parrish, her grand father, had gone fishing one morning when his hook caught something other than a fish. It was the kettle in which the genie dwelled.
This was the untold secret of the Parrish family’s enormous wealth, the skeleton in the lineage’s closet and the reason their destinies changed for the better. With her father’s first wish, the family transformed from poverty to wealth. And because she was forced, the young lady couldn’t bring herself to love her handsome husband. Nothing he did could ever please her. While agreeing to the marital terms, she’d instigated that he would be her husband only by title. He was not to sleep on the same bed, nor ever consummate the union. Over the course of the five years it was supposed to last, he was simply a house help.
Christine Parrish subjected Elijah Baran to such experiences that no man could endure in their matrimonial homes. She could never respect him because, to her, he was a nobody. Very useless in the business world especially without a useful degree. He was dying and deeply concerned about the future of the Parrish family. Christine was the heiress and this was not an easy world for a woman in the business industry. And this was something his grand daughter had no knowledge about. Christine was not considering marriage, not now, at the age of twenty five and definitely not in a very long time. She’d just lost a relationship of over ten years long. The young man had left her to pursue his dreams in the NFL. The break up had taken its toll on her and she wasn’t ready to commit to another anytime soon.
