Ever since Lexington Hall was three, his biggest dream was to win the best actor award. Finally, at age eighteen, he achieved his dream in the movie Dream On. He was Hollywood’s biggest and hottest star. But he shook the world when he went on stage and announced he was quitting acting.
Because this Hollywood star wanted a normal life where he could just be Lex, escaping the glamorous world of Hollywood, Lexington Hall ended up at Maple Creek only to find his fans going crazy and chasing after him.
While on the run, he caused an accident and destroyed country girl Stevie St. James’s truck. Unlike his usual fan girls, Stevie wasn’t a fan. For her, Lexington was nothing but a spoiled and entitled Hollywood actor. Though Stevie wasn’t impressed with Lexington, he couldn’t ignore how she was his first taste of normalcy. But with Stevie running late to her school play auditions, she had to cut their first meet short.
Ever since Stevie was a little girl, her grandmother taught her acting, and Stevie had promised she would one day be the lead at school play. But to her disappointment, her stage partner ditched her, and the whole crowd booed her audition. In trouble, it’s Lexington Hall who stepped up to save the day. He didn’t just save Stevie; he also became her acting partner, which helped her win the lead role.
But there was one catch. Stevie could play the lead only if she was a duo with Lex. So Stevie, desperate to fulfill her grandmother’s wish, made a deal with the Hollywood Badboy. She offered him her spare room at her farm so Lexington Hall could get away from his crazy fans and enjoy his life being normal.
This was undoubtedly what Lexington wanted, and farm life finally gave him the freedom and normalcy he always craved. Soon Lexington Hall was drawn to Stevie St. James, as he fell harder for the farm girl.
But trouble began when his mother and agent Veronica Hall tracked him down to Maple Creek in the Dream On movie. But when pretending turns real, with old wounds reopened, can exes Stevie St. James and Lexington Hall survive Hollywood’s dark side and win in love the second time around?
