Chad Broman possessed all the qualities of an ignorant antagonist. Duke is the Secret God of His Island Short Drama revealed his intentions openly, and even predicted his impending downfall. He returned to the island not to pay tributes to where he came from, but shoot his shot to Kai and make her his trophy.
It greatly helped that Kai was obsessed on getting her big break. Chad fed on her desperation and began weaving lies ruin her relationship with Duke.
