It was a time of unrest in Exiled for failing to awaken his wolf form ending. The different paranormal entities were observing several differences. The vampires, wished to bend all the werewolf packs to the rules of the Vampire chieftain. The witches and the mages had chosen to be very expensive or out rightly unreachable. And other species were mostly in hiding.

Because of the unrest, many watched the movements they made and preferred to travel in packs. But even an entire high ranking werewolf pack couldn’t withstand one low ranking vampire, as vampires were many degrees stronger. It was at this time that some werewolf elders were returning from an adventure, in the company of some of their soldiers, when the path was blocked by a vampire lord.
Because werewolves were fearless enough to prefer dying on the battle field, they refused to bow to his demands and instead chose to fight. It was a massacre. A young man named Nory, just happened to be on the mountains with his immortal masters. It had been twenty years of training under their watchful tutelage and they gave him the permission to rescue the travelers.
To the amazement of the Lincoln werewolf elders and at a time when all hopes were lost, they saw a hooded man run to their rescue, challenge Ryan, the vampire lord and vanquished him with three simple moves. It was a miracle and they rallied around him to make introductions. Such a werewolf who could defeat a vampire lord without even shifting wielded a power like none other.
But he wouldn’t give his name and retreated before they could ask too many questions. This made the elders to send out the word that they were searching for their savior and promised a mighty reward. They also announced that if he could join the Lincoln pack, all their riches would be his and elder Ballelina, the most revered lady of the pack, announced she was willing to marry him.

But Nory was long over due to visiting his mother. It had been twenty years since he was thrown out of the Bronze werewolf pack and his masters gave him the permission to return home. This meant that is was also the same place where he was banished about 20yrs ago. It would turn out that after being banished, he was not permitted to return for the rest of his life.
Therefore, his appearance was intrusive, an insult to the alpha and a dent on their inner sanctuary. He’d walked into a meeting where they were deciding on how to participate in the annual werewolf tournament and elevating the pack from Bronze to, at least, Silver. The Alpha was displeased but none was as displeased as his elder brother, Van.

The only person who was both pleased and relieved to see Nory return was Ginny, his cousin. They were best friends as they grew up together in the Bronze werewolf pack, but the banishment had drastically separated them. Of a truth, she’d started to think that he was dead and from his physical appearance, it seemed he had known nothing but abject poverty and suffering since the exile.

Not only was he wolfless and powerless, he was now malnourished and weak. Ginny pleaded he refused the challenge and instead returned in shame to where he was coming from.
