Part 1: What Is The Main Story Of Head Over Heels Full Episodes?

Head Over Heels is a heartfelt fantasy-romance around Park Seong-ah (played by Cho Yi-yun), a high school student who secretly serves as Fairy Cheon-ji, a shaman with prophetic powers. By day she navigates normal teenage life. By night, she performs spiritual rituals and sees glimpses of the future.
Her stable secret double life was shattered when Bae Gyeon-woo (Choo Young-woo), a transfer student plagued by chronic bad luck, visited her shrine with his mother. Seong-ah’s vision told her he’s doomed to die very soon.
The Head Over Heels plot spiraled when Gyeon-woo transferred to their class the next day. Seong-ah was determined to save him despite Gyeon-woo’s doubt and mistrust. She hid her identity as a shaman and offered protection.
Their worlds collided when Yeom-hwa (Choo Ja-hyun), a troubled shaman connected to Seong-ah’s spiritual lineage, summoned the dark spirit Bong-su.
Gyeon-woo was possessed by this spirit. This complicated Seong-ah’s mission to protect him while navigating her growing feelings.
Meanwhile, Pyo Ji-ho (Cha Kang-yoon), Seong-ah’s friend, provided warmth and levity. His unrequited feelings for her offer became the comedic part, acting as a balance during the growing supernatural chaos.
Meanwhile, the curse intensified and Seong-ah and Gyeon-woo’s bond became both their strength and their heartbreak.
In the climax, Seong-ah summoned every ounce of courage and ritual power to free Gyeon-woo and release Bong-su’s spirit. Through a ritual, the curse breaks and Bong-su finds peace.
In the Head Over Heels ending, the series flashes forward several years where Gyeon-woo becomes an Olympic archer and Seong-ah continues her shaman work.

Part 2: The Head Over Heels Movie Review: Cast, Plot & Ratings
2.1 Review of Head Over Heels Plot

What happens when you combine fantasy, supernatural, and romance in one dramatic K-Drama? It gives you a fresh and exciting series that keeps you awake until midnight!
Head Over Heels plot is a mixture of three genres wrapped around a comedic undertone.
It offers a fantasy worldbuilding with prophetic powers and the ability to summon creatures. The premise revolves around the supernatural encounter of the two main characters. And as the story progresses, the romance develops on its own.
Although this K-Drama series has multiple genres to juggle, it didn’t feel disoriented. The subplots and details blend seamlessly, resulting in a smooth and enjoyable viewing experience.
2.2 Review of Head Over Heels Cast
Dare we say the Head Over Heels cast truly fit the characters? Yes! Both actors embody the youthful vibes needed for a high school romance.
The emotions are on point and it wasn’t awkward watching them during the supposedly romantic scenes. When the lens shifts to another genre, the two leads follow suit.
Cho Yi-yun carried the gentleness and innocence of a shaman while Choo Young-woo portrays the gloominess of a chronically unlucky man. The image was so clear it felt as if the story changed their actors, the character wouldn’t feel the same anymore.
2.3 Head Over Heels Rating

Just like the webtoon, Head Over Heels K-Drama achieved unprecedented success among Korean fans. The series received weekly ratings not lower than 4%, making as one of the most-viewed series during its airing.

It’s also the talk of the town, achieving popularity not only among the webtoon fans but also with casual viewers.
In an era where adaptations are heavily scrutinized by the fans of the original materials, this drama got them head over heels giggling about the series.
