Part 1: I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Plot Summary
Enzo Quinn was an only child and heir to the Quinn Cooperation. The Quinn Cooperation owned most the car dealerships in Pennsylvania. The family was reputed to be one of the richest families of the country and they owned a lot to show for it. Giving birth had been a little difficult for his mother, therefore, he was treasured by his parents. So treasured that he was shielded.
Because he was shielded, Enzo became something generally referred to as a mommy’s boy. He was the kind of rich kids that preferred to study, which didn’t help his case at all, as it made him the despicable nerd that was extremely unattractive to ladies his age. While he could study and make straight As, he couldn’t excel in activities like sports that required strength.
He was handsome, but behind his glasses, a closer look was necessary to see him properly. But what Enzo lacked in physical appearance, he owned in material acquaintances. He was spoiled rotten and never knew suffering in his life, owning the best and most expensive of everything his fellow teenagers would regard as luxury. Because of all this, Enzo thought the world was roses.
When he was about a year old, Mr. Hall, who was the family’s chauffeur gave birth to his daughter, Stella. He was living in the servant’s quarters of the Quinn estate with his family. And because his daughter was the closest kid to Enzo, the children automatically become friends. As they grew up, everybody started to consider Stella as his girlfriend.
Because of this, Stella began to enjoy the same privileges as Enzo. The Quinn family decided if she was going to belong to Enzo, she deserved a proper upbringing. They started to sponsor her to the same expensive schools as Enzo. But the Hall family envied the Quinns. They filled Stella’s head with evil ambitions as she grew older. This made her into a narcissistic girl…
And instead of being grateful for all the kindness she was receiving from the Quinn’s family because of Enzo, she decided to find ways to take and take and use the ever naive Enzo. She grew to dislike him and only stayed around him because of the things she could gain. But Enzo continued to like her ignoring all her excesses and all the other girls attention.
Part 2: I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Characters and Roles
Enzo Quinn
Enzo Quinn was the male lead of I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie. He was about 18yrs old and the heir of the Quinn Cooperation. Because he was born rich, he was spoiled rotten. While other students drove smaller cars to school, Enzo rode in Rose Royce and was chauffeured around. While he was the envy of his fellow high school boys, he was unattractive to the girls.
This was basically because of his physical appearance. While he wasn’t ugly, he was always behind his large glasses. And because he was shielded, he wasn’t wise in the general sense. He disliked parties and every other manly activities that innocent high school girls found attractive. Because he already had a girlfriend from a very young age, none of this mattered to him.
Stella Hall
Stella Hall was the female lead of I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie. She was a golden girl in her long blonde hair. She’d grown into such an attractive young lady, that Enzo was proud she’d been his from a younger age. She was the daughter of the Quinn’s family chauffeur, which wasn’t so bad. But one of the bad characters high school students had was lying…
Stella wasn’t satisfied with her family background which was majorly her parent’s fault. As they’d started voicing their envy of the Quinn’s family to the hearing of Stella from a very young age. Because she wished she was the heiress that Enzo was, she stepped into the character of claiming to be him. Which was easier because Enzo was letting her use him excessively.
Tony Whiteman
Tony Whiteman was the second male lead of I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie. He was handsome young man, heavily built and even though he wasn’t powerful, he could at least make a show of strength. He was also a bona-fide member of the school’s football team and this was something the females found attractive. Even though he wasn’t as rich, Tony was attractive.
While Enzo would do anything to be Stella’s good books, Tony was the man she honestly preferred. He was the man of her dreams and while Enzo continued to scurry around after Stella, she was publicly kissing Tony and letting everyone know he was her boyfriend. She would steal from Enzo and the Quinn’s family only to squander it with Tony.
Lily Amidon
Lily was the second female lead of I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie. She was an exceptionally pretty girl. She was also about 18yrs old and in the same senior high as Enzo, Stella and Tony. She was the girl who was madly in love with Enzo, but no matter what she did, Enzo refused to notice her. In fact, she’d once purchased him a gift, which he abandoned on the desk…
This attitude left Lily crushed for weeks, especially as other students began to refer to her as the die-hard lover who wouldn’t let go. But none of those could faze her, she continued to go after Enzo refusing to let up on him. She wasn’t born rich, but her parents could afford to pay her way through the expensive school, but unlike Stella, Lily was content.
Part 3: I’m Done Being a Yes-Man Brief Movie Review
As we will find in I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie, Enzo Quinn continued to prefer Stella, rejecting all of Lily’s flirtatious approaches. This was until the football team won in a match against another high school and scheduled a party for the evening. Enzo wasn’t the party type, but because Stella needed the car to look good, he would tag along. She was driving on their way back while drinking careless from a bottle with her boyfriend.
Enzo who’d refused to see Stella and Tony’s relationship for what it was, was sitting at the back when Stella suddenly knocked a man dead. It was Tony who suggested Enzo was the culprit, but Stella manipulated him into accepting it. He would be arraigned in court and before the final hearing, Stella visited him in prison and in trying to provide her with the bail money, he handed her the codes to his father’s safe.
Stella dumped him on the spot and promised to spend his family’s money with the man of her dreams. But Enzo was so lucky that Lily still liked him. She would gift him the talisman that granted him a second chance after Stella and Tony arranged for his assassination in prison. The question remained, what happens now that Enzo was reborn?

The most important lesson to learn from I’m Done Being a Yes-Man movie is to accept rejection. It is the duty of every young adult to grow a thick skin that can accept rejection in good faith. When it’s not working, it’s no working and no matter what we do, we cannot force or bribe others into loving us.
