Vesper Brown was a gifted young woman and also exceptionally intelligent. She wasn’t the most attractive in school, but what she lacked in her physical appearance, she made up for in her good qualities. Not only was she not very good looking, she was also from a poor family. As a matter of fact, she was studying in the city’s most expensive college under a scholarship.
This scholarship was provided by the wealthiest family of the city, who were known as the Ronald family. They had an only son who was the heir to all of the Ronald estates. This boy also went to school in the same college as Vesper. He was exceptionally handsome and because he was rich, he was popular and secretly desired by all the females…
His name was Raymond and he had eyes for only one young lady. She was taking a menial job in the school’s cafeteria and he would constantly go to keep her company. He refused to bask in the elevated status that being an heir had granted him. While he was at liberty to date all the college ladies successively, he preferred to seek out the one he wanted.
But even though he continued to visit her at the cafeteria and made sure she got a first of every benefit of being under his family’s scholarship, he never revealed the content of his mind to Vesper Brown.
