Part 1: What Is The Storyline of the Love Scout Movie?
Love Scout series is a 12-episode K-Drama aired on SBS at the start of the year and ended on February 14, 2025. It was written by Ji Eun and directed by Ham Joo-ho and Kim Jae-hong.
The series is currently available on Wavve in Korea and on Netflix and Viki in selected regions.
The drama follows the life of Kang Ji-yun, an ambitious CEO of a headhunting firm called Peoplez. She does everything in perfection at work, but always fails at the most basic tasks and skills at home.
Her life took an unexpected turn when she met her newly-hired secretary, Eun-ho. Eun-ho is the complete opposite of Ji-yun. He can effortlessly balance his work and duties as a son and a single father to Byeol.
Despite having a demanding job, he was still able to complete household duties while taking care of his child. Those were things Ji-yun couldn’t do herself. She might have a structured work life, but outside it, her life is completely void and isolated.
However, when she started working with Eun-ho, she was attracted to his gentle presence, offering her warmth to her desolate life. As they worked together, their bond became stronger and gradually shifted to something.
Ji-yun began opening up to him. Eun-ho took his time listening to her, building a healthy relationship between them, and naturally developing the romance.

Her resignation is emotional, but her employees flood her with support. Hye-jin then assumes control of People, just to find a ghost office. The entire team resigned to show support for Ji-yun.
Shortly after, Hye-jin is arrested for fraud. A long-buried case connected to Career Way is also dug up with Ji-yun as a witness.
Ji-yun didn’t want the company back. She started a new company and named it We Company. With a fresh start, her former team slowly returns to occupy positions.
We Company is thriving and everyone is happy—even Ji-yun. However, it feels incomplete. She then offers his old position to Eun-ho which the latter decisively rejected. He accepted a new tailored HR role and funny enough, he became Ji-yun’s client.
In the end, Ji-yun and Eun-ho meet after work in a busy intersection. They share a sweet smile and embrace. No words. No confirmation. But we all know they got together.
