But it would seem her perpetual ill luck had followed her, as she was fired on her birthday today. And after stifling her pain, she undertook the long walk home and decided to stop at a bakery nearest to the house she inherited from her grandmother.

But being a girl from an abusive family, who lost her mother at childbirth, was abandoned and replaced with another daughter, she knew how to handle her pain, until she met a ghost who claimed to be immortal and refused to leave no matter what she did.

Augustus was the male lead of My Immortal Love youtube. He had a long story that cut across generations. He was a soldier during the Roman empire but was shamefully discharged after a misunderstanding with a higher ranking officer. This was during the death, burial and resurrection of the biblical main character known as Jesus Christ. His punishment was the curse of immortality.
While it should have been a happy ever after, Augustus also bore a curse that made him invisible to human beings and rendered him entirely lonely. While he had an undying, ageless body, he wasn’t allowed to enjoy it. He’d walked many generations and still no one could see him, until tonight at a bakery, when a innocent looking young lady spoke to him specifically. And Augustus won’t let go.
