The begging is hardcore. Dax, the heir of the Leone Mafia family, was chased by his enemies to settle some scores. To evade his pursuers, Dax entered a house that was hosting a masked-themed party.
Since he was wounded in the chest, with blood pouring through his shirt, his disheveled state was inconspicuous.
After successfully grabbing a mask, Dax needed to blend in, so his enemy wouldn’t be able to track him down. He grabbed a girl and asked for a kiss. The stranger’s boldness took aback Athena, but after figuring out he was truly injured, she kissed and saved him from his attacker.
Not getting a chance to thank the girl for rescuing him, Dax looked around for a clue that could lead him to her. He found a student ID with the name Lily and was convinced she was his angel in disguise.
Lily was actually Athena’s partner at her bakery shop, a lazy partner I might add. While Athena did all the work, Lily seldom helped with anything. After sinuously going to make a cupcake delivery, Dax stopped Lily in her tracks.

She struggled through life. Athena’s parents were always troublemakers, always gambling, losing money, and paying off debts.
After graduating from high school, Athena opened a bakery shop to support herself. Despite her hard life, she never stopped being compassionate, helping Dax when he was in jeopardy.
Athena is able to forgive everything, sparing Lily’s life after she’s assumed her identity and tried to turn her against Dax. She’s the perfect match for Dax, calming him when things get heated.
In the end, all antagonists get spared, yet no one seems to be sorry for causing trouble. Does this mean that they could potentially reunite and scheme against Dax and Athena in a sequel? We’ll just have to wait and see.
