Ethan Barrett was a handsome American soldier. He’d been deployed to Iran for a covert mission with his partner, Pierce Penn. They’d been on this mission for months, due to the disagreement between America and Iran. An intel had reached the platoon about a planned terrorist attack and they were sent deeper across the war zone to carry out an investigation.
Ethan and Pierce arrived according to plan, but had no ideas they were surrounded. They had hidden under the brushes, trying to avoid getting shot. At the point where there was no other choice, they would engage the enemy. The exchange of bullets that followed saw Pierce dead and left Ethan wounded. Before taking his last breathe, Pierce had pleaded with Ethan to return his body home. His plea was important because he understood how difficult it was going to be for only one soldier to carry his body across the enemy territory until they could be rescued. But Ethan loved his partner like his brother and would reduce his body to ashes in order to carry him effortlessly.
