Part 1: All About Sweet Temptation—Storyline and Details
The Philadelphia city of Sweet Temptation ending, was a place controlled by Mafia activities. This meant that the mafia held the power in the state, with the police and every other government approved armed forces on their payroll, and having the final say in every political decision making. This also meant there were no free jobs available for people who were not affiliated.
As the mafia provided jobs and owned most of the companies or businesses that had employment opportunities. Joining one mafia group or the other provided the easiest ladder to every form of success in the state and young men dreamed of belonging to one. While this was rampant and in the order of things, the children of this society had no ideas what it meant to be mafia.
There were, of course, hierarchy of authority in the state and the Moretti family was regarded the most powerful, as they constituted the largest mafia family in the country. While they were the most powerful, the Rizzo family seconded them. Mr. Rizzo came into wealth as the right hand man to Cassio Moretti’s father.
Which meant that he was highly indebted to the family. After he got married, he was blessed with a daughter named Giulia. She was a privileged kid, the type that was born with a massive silver spoon. She went to the best private high school and was a cheerleader in senior high. She had many friends swarming around and was reverenced according to her family’s might. Especially as she was an only child.
But little did Giulia know she was a product of the mafia and had duties that must be fulfilled. While mafia activities were publicly frowned upon because of crimes, Cassio Moretti was the most notorious, the most scandalous and the most famous. About a week ago, the news broke the internet that he’d murdered the mother of his children. But it was shocking that his father demanded he immediately remarried.
The choice was Rizzo’s precious daughter and he had no say but to oblige. She’d graduated high school and was turning twenty one in November. The requirement was that the wedding happened on her birthday. According to Giulia’s mother, mafia women do not love, they listen and obey. The young lady was petrified, especially as her future husband was said to be none other but Cassio Moretti.
Everybody knew Cassio murdered his wife less than a week ago. Why was she the unfortunate replacement? But instead of her concerns being valid, the fact that the man was a wife murderer was used as a lesson to teach her to obey. This was the worst day of her life as she was also informed that the man in question was on his way to visiting them. The Rizzo family was getting ready to receive him.

Mr. Cassio Moretti had seen the reason to murder his wife at an inconvenient timing. They’d just gotten ready for an occasion and he’d just discovered her crime. And without thinking, he’d pulled a gun and fired once. The Woman died on the spot or so it was alleged. But the location of this crime had been so inconveniencing that he’d thought about his children only after she bleed out and died on the floor.
Before anyone could control his children, his son of five rushed into the sitting room area and caught his father on the act. He would go into a psychological shut down and refuse to speak out for weeks. But he’d accompanied his father to the Rizzo family mansion, where he was expected to see his next wife material. But nobody was as worried as the little boy who’d witnessed his mother’s death and felt the need to protect his new mom.

He would give three rules to Giulia Rizzo as she was about to assume the duty of being his wife. He said to avoid bright colors, to dress elegantly, to never ask questions and to always obey. But Giulia would be covered in hopeless tears on her twenty first birthday which was also her wedding day.
