Part 1: What Stories Can We Expect in The Sea God’s Disguise Fishing for Love Drama?
Edmund Ashford returned to the storm’s throat after sixty years with the golden horn to summon the sea god. The last time Edmund met the sea god, he was a young boy who had gone on to save the ocean god. In return, the sea god had made Edmund the true master of sea and offered his protection. Now years later, the one who once saved the sea god was on his deathbed, counting his final days in The Sea God’s Disguise Fishing for Love Drama.
As the faithful servant of the mighty sea god, Edmund Ashford had one final humble request. He wanted the sea god to protect his family and business for three more years after his death. To do so, the sea god disguised himself as an ordinary fisherman, Magnus, and even married Edmund’s eldest daughter, Adriana, in a three-year marriage contract.
While Magnus was bound by the duty, Adriana was forced into the marriage while her heart belonged to Sebastian Haverworth. Arrogant and bitter, she vowed to never love the fisherman. For Adriana, her marriage was just a formality to inherit the family business.
Three years later, the sea god who had ditched his divine crown was living as an ordinary human in Cassaria. Everyone called him a worthless deckhand, while Adriana and her friends treated him like a trained circus animal. Yet Magnus moved storms to protect his wife, fixed her meals, and kept silently sacrificing to keep her safe.
However, his three-year-long duty was ending in three days. Before Magnus could make the ultimate choice between leaving or staying, Adriana continued to tear their marriage apart. She first allowed her sister Eloise to pull a cruel prank on Magnus to humiliate him. Next, when the Ashford fleet carrying the Princess of Cassaria, Rosalind, was stuck in the devil’s triangle, she ran to her ex, failing to see her husband’s true worth.
While his wife reunited with her ex, Magnus rescued the princess only to be humiliated and get branded as a liar. He even got kicked out of his manor by his wife, who welcomed her ex, Sebastian. Adriana was too naive to realize no human could escape the Storm’s throat alive if not for the sea god’s protection in The Sea God’s Disguise Fishing for Love movie.
The last straw was when Adriana was caught in bed with her ex. He demanded she leave Magnus, realizing she never consummated her marriage. Worse, Sebastian even tried to assault Adriana. Though Magnus saved her, she hit him and demanded he apologize to her ex.
When Magnus refused, she threatened to replace him in a heartbeat, demanding a divorce. After all, Adriana had failed to realize it was her worthless fisherman husband who was standing between her and the sea monsters. If not for his protection, her empire would crash. But she was oblivious to the truth as she dug her grave. Threatened with divorce, Magnus agreed as he walked away when his three-year duty ended.
Returning to his divine crown, reclaiming his throne, Magnus the sea god chose himself over his ungrateful wife. Only when Magnus was gone did Adriana discover his identity and worth, left with regrets as she came crawling back to beg for forgiveness only to realize it was all too late.
