The citizens of Falcone kingdom in the movie Their Brother the Dragon Sacrifice ending, had woken up to a beautiful morning. This was a peaceful kingdom, located high up in the mountains, away from contemporary civilization, in a world that thrived in magic; where witches, mages and other supernatural creatures existed. The harvest season was in full bloom and satisfactorily bountiful.
It was just like every other day of the week when farmers noticed a mighty, bird-like creature that obscured the sunlight. While the existence of the Dragon was a common knowledge in these realms, it had been over a thousand years since any was last sighted. And as a result, the people had relaxed, forgotten about the prophecy and chosen to do exactly as they individually pleased.
As a matter of fact, certain actions that were originally considered taboos had gradually become the norm, as covetousness, greed, injustice, cheating and other crimes against the innocent were on the rise. Just as they forgot about the prophecy and the consequences of wickedness, they’d also forgotten the ferocity of the Dragon. But the first blast of fire and sulfur was a tragic reminder.
The Dragon swept over the kingdom, burning down villages, destroying farm lands and harvests. It was most terrible that it neither differentiated the rich from the poor nor watched out for the caliber of humans that perished: as both women and children, ladies and maids, nobles and commoners, none was safe from the Dragon rising. She stood in the common hall of her castle, located in the heart of the capital city.
