Legendary chief test pilot Evelyn Carter is reborn as nine-year-old Mia after a stage accident. Aboard Flight SC6654, when the left engine explodes and both pilots are incapacitated, she uses her past-life flight and engineering expertise to stabilize the aircraft, avoid a mid-air collision, survive a thunderstorm, and ditch in Lake Michigan, saving everyone on board. After landing, she exposes Ethan and Linda’s attempt to steal her credit at the recognition ceremony, receives Skycrest’s official honor, and joins its youth aviation engineering program—pursuing a new dream: not only to fly, but to make aircraft safer and bring more people home.
