The ruthless and notorious Adolfi family might be the one picking her up from foster care. However, none of them, except for Enzo, acknowledges her as a part of the family.
Instead, they invest their time and attention in her father, Marco, who spoils the family’s princess, Giana. They reach the peak of their meanness after they conspire to kill Francesca.
They plan to do it again once Francesca has another chance to live the Adolfi family’s life. As for the actress, Jane Murdoch plays Francesca’s intelligent dialogues and weapon mastery well!
Jane portrays Francesca’s uses of her brain and weapon mastery not only to protect herself. Instead, she also does it to empower Enzo and make him the next Don Adolfi.

Even the Adolfi family’s current patriarch, Don Arturo, at first thinks she doesn’t tell lies. Such things cause the Don to make the maid the scapegoat as he kicks her out.
As for Giana, she doesn’t hesitate to use the most manipulative ways to get what she wants. Faking her kindness and affection for Francesca before she stabbed her is one of the things she has done.
In this lifetime, she once again lies about the itchy powder she puts inside the gown meant for Francesca. In the end, exposing her lies and manipulation isn’t the only thing Francesca does.

The plot of Mafia Princess Returns begins with the 14-year-old Francesca Adolfi’s POVs. According to her memories, that time happened when the Adolfi family picked her up from foster care.
Yet, her hellish life has just begun there, for her so-called father never wants her presence. The same also goes for the rest of the family members who try to kill her.
She doesn’t even get to know what a healthy sisterhood looks and feels like. That’s because Giana Adolfi, who should be her sister, not only says that she doesn’t have a sibling. Instead, she also becomes the mastermind behind her tragic death on her birthday.
Only one guy in the Adolfi family is treating her with kindness, and that guy is Enzo. The only downside about this first-born Adolfi family’s son is that he is now wheelchair-bound. His family members also think that he’s useless and no longer eligible to inherit the family’s fortune.
That’s until he refuses to deal with anything about the mafia family’s affairs. Such things also include the challenge coming from his younger brother, Marco.
Once Francesca gets reborn, Marco not only tries to rob his rights to adopt Francesca. Instead, he also challenges Enzo to secure a collaboration with the Petrov family.
Even when Enzo finally nails the collaboration thanks to Francesca’s training, Marco would find more excuses. Such things apply especially when the rest of the Adolfi family members side with him.

Looking at the Mafia Princess Returns cast line-ups’ social media websites, we can see how each member connects. Neven Tomic nails the most brilliant and likeable role when he takes Enzo Adolfi’s role.
We love how he balances the wheelchair and wig props since his debut appearance in Episode 1! Additionally, we also love it whenever Enzo pulls his guns and shows everybody that he can stand.
The chemistry he builds with Jane Murdoch, the actress who plays Francesca’s role, is also something that both actors enjoy. As for us, we love it when we unlock the episodes and find Francesca motivating Enzo to train.
This mafia romance movie might mark Jane’s first casting time with the ReelShort team. However, we love how she portrays Francesca’s knife-throwing acts against the maids who humiliate her and Enzo.
The kickass vibe is also what Neven gets when he exchanges roles with Kristen Hollen Messer. That’s the actress for Rachel Adolfi, Marco’s wife and Giana’s mother, who also happens to be mean to Francesca.

Mafia Princess Returns is the first ReelShort vertical drama featuring Jane Murdoch’s acting. Still, her portrayal as Francesca, the reborn girl who uses the universe-given chance to learn from her past, feels amazing.
For us, Francesca’s challenges begin when Don Arturo makes her an Adolfi who owns the family’s ten percent shares. She might be underage and adopted, but it doesn’t mean she doesn’t get to choose a better life.
Even though the family and their maids look down on Enzo, she keeps her faith in his ability. In the end, she becomes the one who sees his collaboration with the Petrov family’s leader, Aleksei.
