Presently he was the best the club had and also the captain. He was so talented that the club treasured him very much, but he was only one man. They’d tried for a couple of years to qualify for the federation basketball championship, but had faced so many defeats that if they lost again, their career was finished and so was the club’s, as the owner was threatening to sell out.

She’d been carrying their baby when it happened and he’d been watching from inside the after party, celebrating the new trophy. This was carelessness as he saw it, she’d pleaded with him to retire during the entire course of this pregnancy and look what just happened because of his stubbornness. Marcel was broken, he would abandon his career and disappear from spotlight.

But how could he face his demons a second time?
