Her father had a best friend, whom she’d grown used to during her teenage years when he used to frequent the house. But just as her father’s disappearance, Chris had also stopped visiting the house. Chris was feared in the city because everyone knew what he was capable of. Most of his friends, including Harper’s father used him as a hit man.
