Surf God's Revenge
In Surf God's Revenge, Duke Koa is secretly the God of the Island, and his love for surfing runs almost as deep as his duty to protect his home. His Koa surfboard is his greatest treasure. Then the almighty Sea Hag places a curse on Duke and shrinks his board without warning.
To restore it, Duke must marry the Sea Hag’s human daughter, Kai, and remain with her for five years. If he helps Kai succeed, his life will return to normal. Duke accepts the condition, marries her, and settles into life as a devoted househusband.
Duke does everything he can to keep their marriage together and help Kai’s career flourish. Still, she sees him as nothing more than an opportunistic, worthless husband. Duke believes he can endure the mistreatment until their five years are over. But when Kai’s ex returns and works his way back into her life, Duke realizes it is finally time to walk away and choose himself.
Characters
Duke Koa
Duke Koa is the lead protagonist of Surf God's Revenge. Known as the compassionate God of the Island, he helps mortals without expecting anything in return. After meeting Kai, Duke longs to be loved in return for the first time, but her indifference reminds him that not everything is possible—even for a god.
Kai Koa
Kai Koa has everything she needs to build the life she wants. She is married to the God of the Island, and Duke works tirelessly to support her ambitions. But arrogance, selfishness, and prejudice keep Kai from seeing the truth, leading her toward a downfall she may not easily recover from.
Angela Lee
Angela Lee is Duke’s second chance at love. She is the CEO of QuickMaple and the daughter of legendary surfer Mickey Lee. Intelligent, soft-hearted, and humble, Angela is the complete opposite of Kai and a natural match for Duke.
Chad Broman
Chad Broman is the primary antagonist who drives a deeper wedge between Duke and Kai. Their marriage is already falling apart, so Chad only needs to lie, frame Duke, and draw Kai closer to him. He hides his true intentions until Kai believes he is someone she can trust.
